RICK MARCHANT Rick is an IFMGA mountain guide whose passion for the mountains has taken him around the world. A resident for many years in the Chamonix valley his eye is always keen to take advantage of the best conditions for mountaineering, rock climbing, ice climbing or skiing. For Rick the mountains are a lifestyle and each year he will spend more time above the snowline than in the valley. With each new season there are new goals and projects; the pursuit of personal challenge, the search for adventure, the satisfaction of a day above the clouds, the sense of being 'out there', the strength of the emotional reward from a day spent in a beautiful environment and the pleasure of sharing these experiences with others.
