During high-activity mountain sports your temperature quickly rises as the body burns fuel to release energy. To insure that temperatures are kept within acceptable levels, the human body has its own regulation system - as perspiration evaporates there is a cooling effect.

The body does not produce heat in a uniform manner. Some areas of the body emit more heat than others. Identifying these areas and adapting apparel to keep them cool more efficiently results in increased comfort for the user.

Enter DryFlo Zone, the latest breakthrough in active next-to-skin technology. Seamlessly engineered into the fabric are specially customised zones, which are mapped onto body perspiration hot-spots. The fabric within these zones has enhanced moisture-vapour transfer performance. This allows perspiration vapour to escape from the body more quickly, improving the cooling and comfort level.

Body hotspot locations also differ between male and female physiques. The customised zones are therefore very different for the men's and women's DryFlo Zone garments.
