CLEANING YOUR TRIPLEPOINT/TRIPLEPOINT CERAMIC GARMENTS
Keeping your Triplepoint garment clean is important.
Water beading on the fabric surface allows Triplepoint to breathe better
and minimizes condensation, resulting in optimum comfort. Dirt impedes
performance so you should wash your Triplepoint garment, especially if
water no longer beads and runs off. Follow the instructions below.
Triplepoint Garments:
| 1. | Wash in a 30 reduced-action cycle (gentle wash). |
| 2. | Lowe Alpine recommends Granger's Extreme Powerful Wash to clean the garment, and Granger's Extreme Waterproofing for Synthetic & Breathable Fabrics to reactivate water repellency. Follow manufacturers instructions. Please visit their web site for detailed information on waterproofing your garments www.grangers.co.uk. There are other proprietary brands that are effective. |
| 3. | Do not bleach or dry clean. |
| 4. | Do not wring. |
| 5. | Rinse thoroughly. |
| 6. | Heat must be applied to restore water repellency, preferably by low heat tumble drying - 45 minutes minimum, 60 minutes maximum. |
| 7. | If a washing machine and/or tumble dryer is not available, hand wash and rinse thoroughly, allow excess water to drain and apply heat by cool iron or by hair dryer. |
