This page displays our corporate website management policy regarding the processing of personal data of visitors to the site.
This information note is also given to users according to art. 13 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – “Code regarding protection of personal data for those interacting with web services with access from the URL http://www.lowealpine.com”.
This information regards the above mentioned website only and not other websites that the users may be linked to from it.
This note also reflects the provisions of Resolution no. 13 dd. March 1, 2007 “Internet and Electronic Mail” issued by the Privacy Guarantor, and of Recommendation no. 2/2001 adopted by EU Authorities since May 17, 2001 for the purpose of protecting personal data united in the Group instituted by art. 29 of Regulation 95/46/EC with the purpose of identifying a minimum standard for on-line collection of personal data including in particular the mode, timing and character of the information which the Data Controller must provide to users connecting to web pages regardless of the purpose of such connections.

Any data relating to the web services provided on our website is processed at the premises of Lowe Alpine International S.r.l only by our technical staff in charge of data processing. The website is also managed by the software house Vision121 By Maps S.r.l,. Via Roma 28,  Castelfranco Veneto  (TV) – Italy.
No data coming from the website is disclosed.
Any personal data provided by users when sending enquiries or registering on our CV database is only processed for the purpose of carrying out the service as requested. The same happens for data provided by users when purchasing on line.

TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED

The IT systems and software procedures specific to this website collect some personal data during their routine operations in a way that is standard for Internet communication protocols.

This data is not collected with the purpose of associating it to specific individuals, although its peculiar nature might allow the identification of users after processing and associating them with data possessed by third parties.
This specifically includes IP addresses and domain names of computers used by visitors connecting to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) notations of requested resources, time of request, server request submission, size of the response file, response status code assigned by the server (delivered, error, etc.) as well as other information relating to the OS and IT environment of the user.


This data is only used for the purpose of collecting anonymous statistical information about the use of the website and for checking its proper functioning, and are immediately cancelled after processing. It might also be used to ascertain liability in case of fraud to the detriment of the site: except for this, data of web contacts are not normally stored by us for more than six months.



Data provided by the user voluntarily
Whenever a user voluntarily sends any electronic mail to the addresses mentioned in the website without being asked to, the sender’s address as well as any other personal data specified in the message are stored by us in order to be able to respond to their request.
Specific information notes will be published or shown on the website pages from time to time in case of non-standard services on demand.

Cookies
No personal user data is acquired from the website through cookies.
No cookies are used for transmitting personal information and no persistent cookies or other user tracking systems are used.
The use of session cookies – i.e. temporary cookies which are not permanently stored in the user’s computer and are erased upon closing the browser – is strictly limited to transmission of session-identifying data – casual numbers generated by the server – which is necessary to guarantee safe and efficient navigation through the site.
The session cookies used on our website replace the use of other protection techniques which are potentially dangerous for the privacy of users during navigation. Session cookies do not allow the collection of personal data identifying each user.

 

Log files and storage
The log files are tracked for security reasons which require the registration and maintenance of log files and provide access to them by judicial authorities for investigation purposes.
For this purpose, access log files are stored for a period not exceeding 6 months/1 year.
Any investigation of accesses will be carried out in a progressive form, in full observance of the Privacy Act and based on the principles of necessity and proportionality.



VOLUNTARY PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA
Except for click flow data as specified above, the user is entitled to refuse supplying personal data as requested from enquiry or contact forms when registering to our CV database or sending us additional information or other communication material, or when purchasing products through our e-commerce facility.
Nonetheless, failure to supply personal data may result in not obtaining the information/service/
product requested.
For the purpose of completeness, we inform you that in some cases – not normally regarding the management of our website – government authorities may require information based on art. 157 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 for personal data processing auditing. In such cases we will respond in order to avoid administrative penalties.


PROCESSING MODE
Any personal user data is processed with the aid of automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.
For accountancy purposes only, the data concerning on-line purchasers will be stored for a longer time according to the law (5-10 years depending on the category of data).
Some specific safety measures are taken to prevent loss of data, unlawful or incorrect use and unauthorised access.
SCOPE OF USE
Any user data is processed for the purpose of conducting the business of our company and that of our affiliates and/or subsidiaries including:

  • supplying web-interface based services (record of users)
  • registration on our CV database

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS
The owners of personal data have the right to (i) obtain confirmation of the presence of their data and knowledge about its contents and origin at any moment, (ii) check for data accuracy or ask for integration, updating or rectification of the same (art. 7 of the Legislative Decree no. 196/2003).

In observance of the same article of law the owners of the data have the right to ask for cancellation, conversion into an anonymous form or blocking of data if processing has breached any law, or oppose to such processing in any case for legitimate reasons.
